Dear Pacific Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to Pacific School ~ home of the Panthers! Pacific School has been honored as a 2010 California Distinguished School, 2009 California Service Leader School and a National Blue Ribbon School. These recognitions were achieved through the hard work of the entire school community. Pacific School hosts a collaborative and dynamic partnership between students, staff and families. We are committed to working together toward the success of all Panthers.
Pacific’s elementary program supports the intellectual, emotional, social, creative and physical development of each student. A creative and inclusive environment pervades the culture of our school and we take great pride in each and every one of our students. Our rigorous, comprehensive, standards-based curriculum emphasizes a hands-on approach to education where students learn to think critically and creatively. Simply put, by providing an educational program that focuses on the development of the whole child, we are developing lifelong learners and leaders today.
Our community of learners is made up of outstanding students, a dedicated and caring staff, active and involved parents/guardians and a supportive community. Pacific School is dedicated to the success of all students. Through innovative programs such as Shades of Green, Paws with a Cause and Student Council, Pacific Panthers learn empathy, kindness and compassion. Their commitments to positive change at their school and in their local and global community extend the educational experience beyond the classroom walls.
Pacific parents and guardians contribute significantly to our school community in numerous ways. On a daily basis, our parents/guardians work with our teachers to support the education of their children at home. They volunteer in the classrooms, art room, computer lab and library, in the Panther Valet, and on the playground and in the cafeteria. I encourage each of you to find a project or activity that engages your imagination.
By capitalizing on our collective talents, Pacific School will continue to flourish! Have a wonderful 2010-2011 school year.
With Panther Pride,
Debbie Mabry
